Welcome to the official website of the project titled „Creating a lasting basis for the education of leaders in international development cooperation: implementing the Nordic model experience”. The project is carried out jointly by Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS), Global Development Research Group (GDRG) and Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).

This project is part of a broader research and educational program run by GDRG titled „Democratic Governance for Development”.

Applications are now open for the "Development Cooperation Policy and Management" graduate studies programme (carried out within the framework of the project).

II raport cząstkowy

Kolejnym etapem realizacji projektu jest analiza potrzeb związanych z kształceniem liderów międzynarodowej współpracy na rzecz rozwoju oraz identyfikacja doświadczeń "nordyckiego modelu współpracy rozwojowej", które można zaimplementować w Polsce. Został on uwieńczony publikacją II raportu cząstkowego pt. "Doświadczenia współpracy rozwojowej krajów nordyckich - wnioski dla Polski".

2nd Working Seminar
The project’s 2nd Working Seminar was held on March 4-5, 2010 in Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) in Oslo. The seminar participants included:
  • prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski and Marcin Fronia on behalf of SWPS;
  • dr Katarzyna Czaplicka and Robert Łuczak on behalf of GDRG;
  • dr Benjamin de Carvalho, dr Øyvind Eggen, dr Stein Sundstøl Eriksen (head of Department of Development Studies) and dr Jakub Godzimirski on behalf of NUPI.
